Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Volunteers must be over 18 years of age; both sexes; healthy; with impacted lower third molars in similar positions and without active infection (pericoronitis)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Use of any medication in the postoperative period not foreseen in this methodology; presenting any allergic reaction to 0.01% methylene blue; failure to attend scheduled postoperative follow-up appointments; surgeries exceeding 40 minutes in duration; a difference greater than 25% in surgical times between the first and second surgeries and withdrawal of consent by the participant for data collection
