Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged more than 18 years of age, of both sexes, with a history of COVID-19 in the acute symptomatic form of all severities, and who still have symptoms or the presence of sequelae in heart or lungs after 3 months of the acute condition.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Incomplete acquisition of clinical information; inability to exercise; refusal to participate in the research protocol.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to observe an average reduction in physical fitness, measured by the cardiopulmonary exercise test, of around 30% in Assessment 1 (3 to 12 months after the acute condition). In Assessment 2 (12 to 24 months after the acute condition) it is expected to observe a smaller magnitude of this reduction in physical fitness, with an average value of around 10%.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Compare the reduction in physical fitness observed with the biopsychosocial aspects assessed by the questionnaires. It is expected to find that lower physical fitness is associated with greater symptomatology and greater economic, social and mental impact.
