Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Brazilian women; age 18 years; in singleton pregnancies; who express the desire to breastfeed, newborns with risk factors for hypoglycemia; women who gave birth within 3 hours
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children with congenital malformations and/or associated pathologies; premature babies (bigger 37 weeks of gestation) and those who were referred to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or Intermediate Care shortly after birth
