Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Aged between 18 and 35 years, healthy, and physically active. To be classified as physically active, participants must complete the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Signs, symptoms, or diagnosis of chronic diseases; chronic use of medications such as antihypertensives, corticosteroids, and anti-inflammatory drugs; current or previous use of anabolic androgenic steroids or other substances prohibited in competition (e.g., GH and EPO); use of ergogenic supplements such as creatine and/or beta-alanine within the last 3 months; any medical condition that prevents the performance of cycling ergometer tests
