Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Bone high < 4 mm

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with systemic condition wich contraindicate the surgery (eg .: diabetes mellitus, immune disorders); smokers, intravenous bisphosphonate users; precense of acute infections and chronic recurrent within jaw; use of anti-inflammatory drugs for long period of time; pregnancy; clinical or radiographic signs that indicate the presence of dental-maxillary tumor or infectious lesions.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Effect of maxillary sinus dimensions on the volumetric stability of the bone graft that will be evaluated by CT. It is expected that bigger maxillary sinus present greater resorption or worse healing than smaller maxillary sinus.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Effect of maxillary sinus dimensions on the composition of tissue repair that will be evaluated by Histometric analysis. It is expected to show larger maxillary sinus presents smaller amount of bone tissue that smaller sinus.
