Inclusion criteria: Voluntary pregnant women with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus treated at the Lauro Wanderley University Hospital; over age

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant women who are allergic to yams will be excluded; patients with kidney diseases; patients with liver or neurological diseases; pregnant women using multiple medications; minors
