Randomized clinical trial duble blind. A total of 125 individuals will be selected and randomized in blocks into 5 groups of Aussie current (CA): CA1 (n=25), CA2 (n=25), Interferential current (CI) in

Age
18 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Localized lumbar pain; female and male; age 18 to 85 years; numerica pain scale (NPS more than 3; with more than 6 weeks; characterized chronic lumbar pain; lumbar pain with mechanic ethiology

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: pregnant women; lactating women; sedentary individuals; Body Mass Index (BMI) greater than or equal to 30 kg/m2; without physical therapy treatment simultaneously with the study period; surgery in the lumbar region; without clinical diagnosis of low back pain; not present low back pain radiating to the glutes and lower limbs; sensory alteration in the lower limbs and the use of medication to relieve low back pain 48 hours before the performance of the exercises; neurological disease, previous diagnosis of heart disease; acute lung disease; uncontrolled hypertension beginning of medication use less than 1 year ago); orthopedic injuries

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Pain reduction assessed by increasing the pain threshold to pressure by the algometer after the application of the aussie and interferential current.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Expected outcome 1: 1-point decrease in the numerical pain scale after the application of the aussie and interferential current.;Expected outcome 2: Decrease in numbers of descriptors on pain quality assesssed by MCGill questionary after aussie and intereferencial current application.;expected outcome 3: to verify the influence of biopsychosocial factors on low back pain in the response to treatment with the Aussie and interferential current by the start back screening tool.;Expected outcome 4: Improvement of flexibility of the lumbar spine and lower limbs after 12 weeks of training assessed by the schober test, hand-to-ground distance, sit-and-reach test after aussie and interferencial application;Expected outcome 5: improvement of abdominal resistance after application of aussie and interferential current by abdominal resistance test.
