Interventions
This is a randomized controlled, crossover, two-arm, single-blind clinical trial. Each participant will have one of their legs submitted to a strength training protocol and the other leg will be used
(2) 3 sets of 8 to 12 repetitions maximum (RMs) repetitions of leg extension, performed unilaterally
and (3) 3 sets of 8 to 12 repetitions maximum (RMs) performed unilaterally on the 45°leg press machine. If participants perform less than 8 or more than 12 repetitions, load should be adjusted by 5% i

18 Years to 35 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Healthy younger women; age between 18 and 35 years; regular menstrual cycle lasting 21 to 35 days
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Regular practice of physical activities; irregular menstrual cycles; anovulatory cycles; cycles with luteal deficiency; any kind of hormonal treatment; endocrine disorders or disorders involving the menstrual cycle; any injury that prevents the practice of physical activity; treatment with drugs that alter body composition
