Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Volunteers in preoperative myocardial revascularization. They did not perform the procedure. No other associated surgeries. Older than 18 years. Both sexes. Interned at the study hospital. Length of stay less than 10 days

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients hospitalized for more than one surgery. Health professionals. Patient with cognitive disorders. Alzheimer's disease. Learning disorders. Patients with a diagnosis that makes it impossible to understand guidelines. Children and adolescents. Patients who have already had heart surgery.

It is expected to change the patient's anxiety level after the preoperative surgical guidelines, using the assessment method with the IDATE anxiety scale before and after the intervention, based on the comparison of the results between the two study groups. with a significance level of 5%.;It is expected that the use of the audiovisual resource will increase the patient's knowledge about the surgical procedure, with the evaluation method through the Knowledge Assessment Instrument applied after the interventions, based on the comparison of the results between the two study groups. with a significance level of 5%
