Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Feminine gender; Age greater than 60 years; With no history of lower limb injury in the last six months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Musculoskeletal lesion in the lower limbs in the last six months; Vestibulopathy, neuropathy, being in the acute phase of some treatment for lower limbs, neurological problems that interfere in the capacity to carry out the study training and assessment protocols

It is expected that the strength stability training protocol of the plantar flexor muscles (performed at low intensities: 5% and 10% of maximal voluntary contraction) to be used to reduce force variability for musicians as to decrease the displacement of the within Pressure of the elderly. The training protocol is also expected, however, use a press platform, present satisfactory results and become an easily accessible tool for the population.;In general, all the training protocols were able to better the variability of the strength of the plantar flexor muscles, but ended up generating an increase in the center of pressure displacement of the participants.
