Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| It is expected an increase in muscle thickness, pennation angle, and cross-sectional area of the biceps brachii, indicating localized muscle hypertrophy by ultrasound images; It is believed that the groug subjected to blood flow restriction will have an significantly greater improvement in muscle strength (peak torque and endurance), compared to the control group, quantified by the isokinetic dynamometer | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| It is expected a methodological standardization of blood flow restriction exercise prescription based on hemodynamic data and inflammatory biomarkers | — |
