This is a prospective, randomized, double-blind clinical trial, consisting of Phase 01 (identification of relative vascular risk for blood flow restriction training prescription) and Phase 02 (impleme
endothelial ultrasound assessments of the brachial artery will be conducted at baseline and after each protocol, additionally, saliva samples will be collected to analyze IL-6 (Interleukin-6) and cort
muscle architecture and strength will be assessed before and after the training protocol to evaluate the outcomes

Age
18 Years to 35 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: That will be recruited healthy adult volunteers of both sexes, aged 18 to 35 years, who are sedentary or occasionally active in recreational physical activities (standardized based on accelerometry assessment), and with no history of cardiovascular, neuromuscular, or metabolic diseases

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Non-inclusion criteria will include the use of medications that influence muscle function, smokers, pregnant women, individuals with recent upper limb injuries, any contraindication to physical exercise, or any previously diagnosed vascular condition. Individuals who consume stimulants, such as caffeine and alcohol, 24 hours prior to the assessments will be excluded

It is expected an increase in muscle thickness, pennation angle, and cross-sectional area of the biceps brachii, indicating localized muscle hypertrophy by ultrasound images;It is believed that the groug subjected to blood flow restriction will have an significantly greater improvement in muscle strength (peak torque and endurance), compared to the control group, quantified by the isokinetic dynamometer

It is expected a methodological standardization of blood flow restriction exercise prescription based on hemodynamic data and inflammatory biomarkers
