18 Years to 45 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: systematically healthy patients; indication for contralateral tooth extraction from extensive carious lesion, periodontal disease or orthodontic indication, without osteotomy or odontosection

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: uncontrolled systemic pathologies; smokers; alcoholics; pregnant women; patients allergic to one or more drugs used; patients who have used anti-inflammatory drugs or antibiotics in the last 7 days

Expected Outcome 1 - Chlorhexidine presents better results in comparison to the phytotherapic in the clinical criteria analyzed: bleeding, necrosis and hyperemia after 07 days of the surgical procedure;Found Outcome 1 - There was no difference between chlorhexidine and phytotherapic in the clinical criteria analyzed (bleeding, necrosis and hyperemia) after 07 days of the surgical procedure;Expected outcome 2 - Due to its analgesic properties, Phytotherapy shows better results compared to chlorhexidine in the pain parameter (through the visual analogue scale) after 24 hours and 07 days of the surgical procedur;Found outcome 2 - There was no difference between chlorhexidine and phytotherapic in the pain parameter, after 24 hours and 07 days of the surgical procedure
