60 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy volunteers; aged between 60 and 80 years; both sexes; sedentary; independent to perform activities of daily living; vaccinated against COVID-19.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Volunteers with cognitive impairment; presence of injuries, fractures or amputations of lower limbs; presence of neurological, vestibular or cardiovascular diseases; participating in other activity programs.

Expected outcome 1: It is expected to find an improvement in the functional physical performance of the elderly after 24 exercise sessions, evaluated by the Glitre Activity of Daily Life (Glitre ADL) test, from a variation of at least 5% in the pre and post-treatment measurements. intervention.

Expected outcome 2: It is expected to find an improvement in the postural balance of the elderly before after 24 exercise sessions, which will be evaluated by the Mini Balance Evaluation System Test (Mini BESTest), from the verification of a variation of at least 5% in the measurements pre and post intervention.;Expected outcome 3: It is expected to find an improvement in the muscle strength of the lower limbs before after 24 exercise sessions through the test of standing up and sitting down 5 times, from the verification of a variation of at least 5% in the pre and post measurements -intervention.;Expected outcome 4: It is expected to find an improvement in quality of life before after 24 exercise sessions through the World Health Organization Quality of Life Instrument - OLD (WHOQOL-OLD), from the verification of a variation of at least 5% in pre- and post-intervention measurements.
