Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| It is expected to early identify the incidence of Medication-Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw (MRONJ) Stage 0 cases, verified by means of systematic cross-referencing between intraoral clinical examination and Computed Tomography imaging analysis guided by a structured template, based on the observation of the frequency (in percentage) of prodromal radiographic findings such as focal bone sclerosis, thickening of the lamina dura, and persistent alveolar socket post-extraction in patients who do not present frank mucosal bone exposure | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| It is expected to demonstrate the direct correlation between the absence of prophylactic oral adequacy and the exacerbation of maxillofacial bone toxicity, verified by means of medical records analysis associated with the active search for local risk factors (such as tooth extractions performed during medication use and the presence of periodontal disease), based on the statistical finding that the highest percentages (%) of progression to severe clinical stages of American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (MRONJ) (AAOMS Stages 1, 2, and 3) occurred in the sample of patients subjected to traumatic risk factors while under zoledronic acid therapy | — |
