54 patients with a occlusal caries lesion in a primary tooth.
Test: 27 patient
caries sealing (without tissue removal) with a light cure glass ionomer cement.
Control: 27 patients
selective caries removal and restoration with a light cure glass ionomer cement.

Age
3 Years to 9 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Occlusal Caries; Deciduous Molars; Children between 3 and 9 years old.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Presence of hypoplasic teeth; special needs patients.

| Occlusal dental caries lesion progression arrestment in primary molars after 36 months follow-up. Maesured by the periapical radigrafic exam. It will be performed by a blinded examiner calibrated to evaluated the lesion depht before the treatment and after 36 months follow-up. It will be performed also a restoration longevity clinical exam according to USPHS criteria during the follow-up. | — |
