Age
18 Years to 50 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Amateur swimmers; male and female; aged between 18 and 50 years; with at least two years of swimming experience; participating in a regular endurance training program at least three times per week; and medically cleared to perform maximal exercise testing

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Presence of pain or musculoskeletal injuries in the upper or lower limbs; medical contraindication to maximal exercise testing; cardiorespiratory diseases; smoking; or use of electronic cigarettes

To assess improvements in swimming performance through the critical swimming velocity test before and after the intervention
