Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male volleyball athletes; aged between 14 and 18 years; who have been regularly practicing the sport for at least six months; with a minimum frequency of two training sessions per week

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Neurological conditions that may compromise cognitive processing or reaction time, for example, a recent history of concussion or traumatic brain injury; individuals with peripheral neurological lesions or dysfunctions such as neuropathies and peripheral nerve injury, which may alter sensorimotor representations and influence visuomotor responses; participants with acute or chronic lesions that limit the execution of tests such as joint instability, limiting pain, ligamentous injuries of the knee and ankle with functional restriction; regular use of medications that may affect attention or modify the response time to visual stimuli, such as anticonvulsants, opioid analgesics, antiepileptics, benzodiazepines, antidepressants, hypnotics, and antihistamines.
