Intervention group: Consisting of 50 patients with head and neck cancer undergoing radiotherapy. During the acupuncture technique, sterile and disposable needles will be used in 19 P5 points

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with confirmed histopathological diagnosis of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma; Age over 18 years; Accept to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals who do not have capacity or have limitations that prevent them from responding to the questionnaires.

MeasureTime frame
To assess whether the use of acupuncture interferes with the patient's quality of life after cancer treatment. To assess the patient's quality of life, the Whoquol-Bref instrument will be used. To define whether there was an improvement in the quality of life, the instrument will be applied before and after radiotherapy treatment in both groups (the one that received the intervention with acupuncture and the one that did not receive the intervention) the quality of life score will be compared at the beginning and end of radiotherapy treatment in both groups.
