Eligibility

Age
60 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals aged 60 or over will be included; both genders; diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinsons disease, based on criteria determined by the London Brain Bank

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants with a stage greater than 3 on the Hoehn & Yahr scale; insanity; history of orthopedic and vision problems that make it impossible to comply with the experimental protocol; patients at risk of receivingtranscranial direct current stimulation (neural implants, pacemakers, history of seizures and epilepsy)

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To verify the connectivity between prefrontal cortex, motor cortex, pariental cortex and occipital cortex during walking through the electroencephalographic technique that consists of the positioning of a cap with the electroencephalography electrodes and an analysis made in a matlab environment. We expect to find an increase in the number of connectivity points between these regions

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To verify the Continuous relative phase between the arm and leg acceleration signals during walking through 5 accelerometer positioning on wrists, ankles and on 5 lumbar vertebra region and through an analysis made in matlab enviroment. We expect to find an improvement on interlimb coordination through the decrease on phase angles
