45 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Postmenopausal women; age >45 years; last menstrual period =12 months ago; history of breast cancer; duration of treatment =5 years; similar treatments received (surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, use of tamoxifen); follow-up at the Gynecology Outpatient Clinic of the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro; moderate or high fatigue (=4/10 on the Brief Fatigue Inventory); ability to perform physical exercise (assessed by the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire); availability to participate in training and assessments at pre-established times

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Previous practice of resistance exercises or similar; vegetarian diet; smoking; presence of cardiovascular diseases; presence of respiratory diseases; presence of musculoskeletal diseases that contraindicate physical exercise; excessive alcohol consumption; use of immunosuppressive or anti-inflammatory medications in the last 4 weeks

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
A reduction in perceived fatigue and the most effective inflammatory markers is expected with morning strength training. Data were collected before and after the intervention

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Improvements in muscle strength, performance fatigability (muscle fatigue), physical function, quality of life, and a reduction in inflammatory cytokines are expected. Data were collected before and after the intervention
