Eligibility
Age
18 Years to 50 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Healthy volunteers of both sexes; aged between 18 and 50 years; presence of all six upper anterior teeth; upper canines should be A2 or darker in color compared to the Vita Classical visual color scale; presence of at least two Class III restorations in the upper anterior teeth; the restorations should not involve more than 1/4 of the vestibular surface and should not be located in a way that interferes with the spectrophotometer placement
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Volunteers with severely pigmented teeth (tetracycline stains and fluorosis); pregnant or breastfeeding women; smokers; patients undergoing orthodontic treatment; patients with endodontic treatment and unsatisfactory restorations (presence of secondary caries, cracks, and marginal infiltration) in any of the six upper anterior teeth; volunteers undergoing treatment with anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and/or antioxidant medications; volunteers with gingival recession and/or tooth wear with dentin exposure; patients who have undergone previous whitening treatments within the last 12 months
