Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| This study aims to demonstrate the effect of using ozonized oil gel compared to using 1% chlorhexidine gel in the treatment of patients with stage II or stage III periodontitis, evaluating clinical parameters such as Plaque Index (PI), Bleeding on Probing (BOP), Probing Depth (PD), and Clinical Attachment Level (CAL), through statistical analysis. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The aim is to evaluate whether ozonized oil gel associated with basic periodontal treatment will improve periodontal clinical parameters, as well as inflammation and growth factors in patients with stage II or III periodontitis, by measuring Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1 (TGF-ß1) using the ELISA test, and quantifying absorbed Gingival Crevicular Fluid (GCF) in square millimeters using software. | — |
