Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients of both sexes; age ranging from 25 to 70 years; diagnosis of sleep-disordered breathing through type I, type II or type III polysomnography; medical referral for treatment with mandibular advancement oral appliance therapy; complete medical and dental documentation including type I, type II or type III polysomnography; basic orthodontic records consisting of extraoral and intraoral photographs, dental casts, panoramic radiograph and lateral cephalometric radiograph with cephalometric tracing; clinical records containing detailed anamnesis, personal data and Epworth Sleepiness Scale; digital dental arch files obtained through intraoral scanning
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who do not authorize the use of their data for analysis; patients who do not present complete clinical, polysomnographic and orthodontic documentation in the study group; patients in the control group who begin orthodontic treatment during the clinical follow-up period; patients who, during periodic follow-up visits, undergo rehabilitative or esthetic treatments capable of altering dental positioning or dental anatomy
