Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find a positive and significant regularization of emotional indicators (mindfulness, compassion, self-compassion, depression, anxiety, stress, impulsivity and daytime sleepiness) of university students after undergoing 16 weeks of Hatha Yoga intervention. It will be verified by the method of comparing the data collected before and after the four-month period of intervention with Hatha Yoga. The method of self-administered instruments/scales will be used as the following scales: Mindfulness Scale (MAAS); Santa Clara Compassion Brief Scale; Self-Compassion Scale; Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS - 21) reconciled model; Barratt Impulsivity Scale; Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS). Primary outcomes, respectively to the scales presented above, are: Compassion capacity - medium or high; Capacity for self-compassion - moderate or high; Presence of depressive symptoms – normal or mild; Presence of anxiety symptoms – normal or mild; Presence of stress symptoms – normal or mild; Presence of Impulsivity - very controlled or normal limits of impulsivity; Daytime sleepiness – absence of daytime sleepiness. We will observe among the psychosocial variables that changed according to the parameters of each evaluation instrument used, under the observation of a variation of at least 5% in the measurements before and after the intervention with Hatha Yoga.
