Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: elderly women; 60 and 80 years old; knee arthrosis with grades 2 and 3; knee pain between 3 and 8; body mass index lower than 35 kg/m2; walk independently
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Prostheses and / or orthoses in lower limbs; fractures in the last 6 months; hip and ankle arthrosis; dementia stage; physiotherapeutic treatment

| Assess the perception of the risk of falling; it is expected to find an increase in the perception of falling after the intervention program with and without footwear for elderly women with knee arthrosis compared to control elderly women. To assess the perception of the risk of falling, the FRAQ-Brazil questionnaire (Falls Risk Awareness Questionnaire) will be used;Assess the floor during the six-minute intervention; it is expected to find an increase in walking distance after the intervention program with and without footwear for elderly women with knee arthrosis compared to control elderly women. To assess walking, the six-minute walk test (6MWT) will be used.;Assess the balance; it is expected to find an increase in balance after the intervention program with and without footwear for elderly women with knee arthrosis compared to control elderly women. To assess the balance, the Timed Get Up and Go Test (TUG) will be used;Assess the distribution of plantar pressure during walking and in a still standing posture; it is expected to find a reduction in plantar load during walking and an increase in body sway in the standing posture after the intervention program with and without footwear for elderly women with knee arthrosis compared to control elderly women.
