Eligibility

Age
60 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age between 60 and 80 years old; low quality of life in WHOQOL-bref; mild to moderate depressive symptoms on the GDS-15; access to the internet and digital technologies; live in the northern region of Rio Grande do Sul

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Functional and/or cognitive impairment; hearing impairment; in psychotherapy; illiterate; failure to sign the Free and Informed Consent Form

MeasureTime frame
It is expected from the study that the brief group psychotherapy intervention program will be effective, presenting improvements in the domains of psychological QoL and social relationships in which the individual is inserted.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is hoped that this study can contribute to supporting social, political and assistance changes in health care for elderly people in the Brazilian scenario, through effective choices of brief online group psychotherapy intervention to improve quality of life, with the aim of favor actions that support a healthy aging process. It is also expected that the study can contribute to the advancement of science regarding the limits and potential of online systemic intervention and the research instruments used.
