Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Expected outcome: Reduction of wrinkles and flaccidity demonstrating the renewal of collagen and elastin fibers after all cryofrequency sessions.;Expected outcome 1: The first results are expected to be visible before the completion of the four sessions, and the use of the cryofrequency device is anticipated to be effective for treatment, meaning it does not worsen the participants’ skin condition. ;Expected outcome 2: To propose a safe and effective protocol using cryofrequency. ;Observed outcome 1: The treatment group (n = 21) showed homogeneous results, with a reduction in the Severe and Moderate classifications and maintenance of improvements in subsequent evaluations. These findings suggest that cryofrequency enhances the beneficial effects of cold by combining the deep thermal stimulation of radiofrequency with the vasoconstrictive and anti-inflammatory action of cryotherapy. No worsening of cases was observed.;Outcome found 2: standard technical protocol for cryofrequency application — skin cleansing; application of conductive gel; cryofrequency treatment for 10 minutes over the entire face at a power of 100 W, with a minimum of four sessions spaced seven days apart; removal of excess conductive gel; application of sunscreen with SPF 70. It is recommended to personalize the treatment to assess the need for additional sessions and other combined interventions. | — |
