Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria will be male and female patients with a urodynamic study showing only detrusor hypocontractility, without the presence of an obstructive factor to the urinary flow. They must be in clean intermittent catheterization, not undergoing any surgical procedure in the lower urinary tract in the last 12 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: end-stage renal failure (with oligo-anuria), recurrent urinary tract infection, non-adherence to clinical monitoring protocols and clean intermittent auto-catheterization. Presence of any malignant neoplasm confirmed in treatment or recently treated or even any suspicion of cancer will be an important exclusion criterion due to contraindication to the use of stem cells in these patients.

Expected outcome: improvement of bladder contractility Evaluation method: Urodynamic study. The urodynamic study was also carried out, which provided several data for comparative evaluation between the moment before and after the transplantation of stem cells. Maximum flow, medium flow, urine volume and post-voiding residue were obtained in the initial urofluxometry. In the stage of Differential Cystometry, information was obtained such as maximum cystometric capacity, complacency and the presence or absence of urinary losses or detrusor hyperactivity. In the flow-pressure study the data were maximum flow, detrusor pressure at maximum flow and detrusor contractility index calculated (Bladder contractility index: BCI = pdetqmax + 5 x Qmax).
