Eligibility

Age
20 Years to 59 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Hypertensive volunteers; both sexes; non-smokers; aged between 20 and 59 years; diagnosed with arterial hypertension for more than one year

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant or breastfeeding women; smoking; kidney failure; dialysis; heart disease; stroke; or heart disease; stroke; autoimmune disease; and the presence of any other medical condition that may interfere with compliance with the with the protocol

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that the composition and diversity of the gut microbiota of patients with hypertension will improve, resulting in better cardiovascular, anthropometric, metabolic and inflammatory parameters compared to pre-intervention.
