Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To evaluate the impact of the teletriage, teleconsultation and telemonitoring model on the time taken to start treatment and adherence to conservative therapy in patients with temporomandibular disorders and waking bruxism. Verified by analyzing medical records and electronic remote monitoring records. We expect to see a minimum reduction of 25% in the time between first contact and the start of treatment, as well as an adherence rate to the therapeutic plan of 75% or more | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To evaluate the effectiveness of the use of telecare technologies in improving patients' knowledge of temporomandibular disorders, orofacial pain and bruxism during waking hours, through the application of immersive educational content in virtual reality. This will be verified using a standardized questionnaire with a comprehension scale applied before and after the intervention. We will observe an increase in the average comprehension score of at least 30% compared to the initial value | — |
