5 Years to 15 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Primary school students belonging to the Educational Institutions of the Bethlehem District. • School boys and girls. • Positive diagnosis for Giardia duodenalis by coproparasitological analysis. • Informed consent signature of the parents or legal guardians of the students under study according to the Helsinki declaration. • Child´s consent confirming their willingness to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • School children who do not voluntarily settle their participation in the study or whose parents or guardians do not sign the necessary informed consent for participation in the study. • Having received treatment against Giardia duodenalis or against intestinal helminths within 7 days prior to the start of the study. • Negative diagnosis for Giardia duodenalis
