Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • The treating psychiatrist is considering a new medication antipsychotic and could choose ziprasidone or olanzapine as proper treatment; • 18 or more years of age; • treatment received in inmate or outpatient conditions; • diagnosis of schizophrenia; Y • Written informed consent, signed and dated to participate in this study obtained by the physician in charge of the enrollment.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • pregnancy or breastfeeding period; • participation in other studies with research products in concomitantly or within 30 days prior to admission to the study; • Progressive fatal illness or life expectancy that prohibits your participation in a one-year research study, or • Previous randomization and enrollment in this study.
