Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Students aged 14 to 16 years Enrolled in second-year classes of the standard academic track in the six participating public secondary schools (Governorate of Sfax, Tunisia) Medically cleared for ordinary physical education Not a regular federated competitive handball player Written informed consent from a parent or legal guardian Written student assent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Current injury or medical condition preventing participation in physical education Anticipated absence from more than 20% of scheduled lessons Missing parental or legal-guardian consent Missing student assent Prior regular competitive club handball participation

Game performance measured by the Team Sport Assessment Procedure (TSAP) index obtained from filmed 5-versus-5 games (two 7-minute periods) under standardized school rules; higher scores indicate greater effective involvement and contribution to play

Secondary

Decision making coded from the same filmed games with the Game Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI); score 0-1, higher values indicate a larger proportion of appropriate decisions;Technical execution coded from the same filmed games with the Game Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI); score 0-1, higher values indicate a larger proportion of successful executions;Tactical creativity: number of distinct functional solutions generated during a standardized reduced-game task;Autonomous motivation: 1-to-5 composite score from a bilingual self-determination-theory-based questionnaire;Active motor engagement: System for Observing Fitness Instruction Time (SOFIT) percentage of intervals classified as walking or very active;Implementation fidelity: video-coded sample of lessons (autonomy-supportive and external-focus feedback, fidelity checklist), summarized at class level
