Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • Age 18–60 years • ASA physical status I or II • Undergoing nasal surgery under general anesthesia • No significant laryngotracheal disease
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • Patient refusal • Pregnancy • Diabetes mellitus • Difficult airways, neck pathology, or GERD. • Malignant nasal disease. • Recent use of systemic or topical sore throat agents. • Regular smokers (Regular smokers are individuals who have smoked at least one cigarette per day for the past 30 days or more). • Allergic to study medications.
