Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Be adults aged 18–60 years. 2. Have a documented diagnosis of hypertension for at least three months prior to recruitment. 3. Be engaged in a desk-based occupation involving predominantly seated work for at least 8 hours daily. 4. Be on stable anti hypertensive treatment for at least four weeks prior to enrollment. 5. Provide written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Have severe hypertension (systolic blood pressure =180 mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure =110 mmHg). 2. Have a recent cardiovascular event such as stroke or myocardial infarction within the preceding six months. 3. Have severe musculoskeletal, neurological, or mobility-limiting disorders that impair exercise participation. 4. Are pregnant. 5. Participate in structured moderate-to-vigorous physical activity exceeding 150 minutes weekly. 6. Have severe respiratory disease, uncontrolled arrhythmias, or any medical condition associated with exercise intolerance.
