Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age between 15 and 35 years both male and female patients diagnosed with progressive keratoconus Increase of =1.00 diopter (D) in the steepest keratometric (K) reading Increase of =1.00 D in manifest cylinder Increase of =0.50 D in manifest refraction spherical equivalent Decrease in corneal thickness >30 µm and Keratoconus stages I–III according to Amsler–Krumeich classification with a clear cornea
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: History of ocular trauma Previous intraocular surgery Corneal thickness less than 400 µm History of herpetic ocular infection Post-LASIK ectasia and presence of other corneal ectatic disorders
