Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All consenting pregnant women booked for elective caesarian section under spinal anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient who had Spinal anaesthesia but failed and general anaesthesia was substituted 2. Developed complication other than PDPH during or after the surgery that require ICU admission 3. Mothers who had pre-existing Chronic or recurrent headache 4. Patient that did not consent 5. Those with allergy to local anaesthetic agents 6. Patient on anticoagulant therapy 7. Those that are of American Society of Anesthesiologists’ Classification (ASA) IV
