Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children strictly under the age of five years; confirmed diagnosis of severe-to-profound sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) defined by a pure-tone average (PTA) exceeding 80 dB; complete absence of prior cochlear surgical interventions; complete absence of total cochlear ossification.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients presenting with structural cochlear malformations, such as Mondini dysplasia; patients diagnosed with syndromic hearing loss variants, such as Usher syndrome.
