Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: -Patients in good health with absence of relevant medical condition that contraindicate implant placement e.g. uncontrolled diabetes mellitus or blood coagulation disorder. -Optimal compliance as evidenced by no missed treatment. appointments and a positive attitude toward oral hygiene. -Full mouth plaque score and bleeding on probing < 25% (18) . -Hopeless tooth due to non-periodontal causes like vertical root fracture, failed endodontics and trauma. -Extraction socket type I Elian classification -Thin mucosal phenotype less than 2mm.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: -History of cancer or head and neck radiation. -Extraction socket type II or type III Elian classification (19). -Patients with parafunctional occlusal habits -History of periodontal surgeries - History of presence of acute infection in the area planned for surgery. -Pregnant - lactating females. Smoking.
