Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Adult individuals with physiological gingival pigmentation in the maxillary and the mandibular anterior esthetic zone. • Score 2 of melanin pigmentation index (MPI)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Gingival pigmentation that may be caused by systemic diseases or medications taken. 2. Periodontal disease. 3. Previous mucogingival surgery at the treated region. 4. Caries or infection in anterior teeth. 5. Smokers. 6. Pregnant or lactating women

All laser wavelengths (groups) were fast, comfortable and effective with comparable results showing significant improvement in pigmentation indices throughout the follow-up period.
