Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Patients aged between 21-40 years of either sex - with American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status (ASA) I & II scheduled for thoracoscopic sympathectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -The research excluded patients with coagulopathies, - local infections - neuropathies, neuromuscular diseases - mental illnesses - a history of thoracic surgery. -Patients who had a history of local anesthetic allergies, were on chronic pain medications, were drug users - refused treatment were also eliminated

the total analgesic consumption in the first 24 h postoperative

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
postoperative severity of the pain assessed by visual analogue scale (0-100), the time for 1st request of analgesia and assosciated side effects and complication if present as secondary outcome.
