Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Eligibility criteria 3.4.1 Inclusion Criteria All patients undergoing elective surgeries involving clean wounds at the study centers during the course of the study who consented to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 3.4.2 Exclusion Criteria i. ASA beyond 2. ii. Those with wounds below 3 cm or above 10 cm length. iii. Patients with wounds which involved, palms, soles, and peri anal area were excluded from the study.
