Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant women who are planned for elective cesarean section. 2- History of previous pelvic or abdominal surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Known or suspected placenta accreta spectrum disorders (accreta, increta, percreta) or uterine rupture. 2. Severe polyhydramnios or conditions preventing proper ultrasound assessment. 3. Patients with active abdominal wall infection or extensive scarring interfering with striae or scar assessment. 4. Morbid obesity (body mass index = 40 kg/m²).

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The severity of intra-abdominal adhesions will be assessed intraoperatively

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The external appearance of the previous cesarean scar will be assessed using the Vancouver Scar Scale (VSS)
