Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All children aged between 5 years and 18 years admitted to the Paediatric Surgery Unit after Appendicectomy. All children aged between 5 and 18 years presenting to the accident centre after an accident

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All children between 5 and 18 years presenting with appendicitis but unable to wear the device All children between 5 and 18 years presenting with appendicitis who are unable to keep the device on the wrist All children between 5 and 18 years presenting to the accident centre after an accident who are unable to wear a device All children between 5 and 18 years who are unable to or keep the device on the wrist
