Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All pregnant women from 37 weeks' gesgestational age to 41 completed weeks with singleton pregnancy and Fetus in cephalic presentation that were admitted for vaginal delivery. maternal age above 18 years
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Abnormal lie ( breech, Transverse or oblique lie) 2. Women with previous cesarean section scar 3. Pregnancy with co-mobidities like hypertensive disease in pregnancy, diabetes mellitus and any other medical condition in pregnancy. 4. Women with pelvic tumour co-existing in pregnancy like uterine fibroid/tumours. 5. Diagnosis of congenital anomalies. 6.PROM 7. Polyhydramnios and oligohydramnios 8. High Risk pregnancies as defined by standard obstetric parameters.
