Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients in need of a removable partial denture presenting in the clinics in the study areas during the study period. Aged between 20 and 59 years. The patients who are not enrolled as participants in another clinical study. The opposing dental arch will be dentate, with a well-distributed contact relationship with the new prosthesis, and will have healthy dental and periodontal tissues. Non -allergic to polymers and metallic alloys, Willingness to comply with study procedures, including maintaining good oral hygiene, prosthesis care, and compliance with the recall reviews.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Partially dentate patients who do not qualify to have their missing teeth replaced using the RPDs will be excluded from the study. Patients with systemic disorders, oral disease, occlusal discrepancy, abnormal oral habits such as bruxism and those diagnosed with TMJ problems will be excluded. Physical or psychological disorders prohibiting removable prosthesis use and qualitative assessment of oral rehabilitation, heavy smokers (>10 cigarettes/day), Evidence of present alcohol and/or drug abuse, Physical disability that may interfere with the ability to perform oral hygiene, and patients undergoing other active dental treatment will be excluded. Patients with poor oral hygiene who are not compliant with oral hygiene measures, patients already wearing partial dentures, and those with severe deep bite, supra-eruption, and severe crowding related orthodontic treatment needs, which may impact the prosthesis fitting, occlusion, and oral hygiene measures, will be excluded from the study. Patients with mucosal inflammation, stomatitis, ulcerations or flabby tissues, healing sockets, or retained roots on the saddle areas will also be excluded in this study.
