Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants will be adolescents and young people meeting the following criteria: ? Know their HIV status - HIV status has been disclosed to them ? Full written informed assent from minors aged 10-17 years including written informed consent by caregiver ? Written informed consent from mature adolescents aged 18 years and emancipated minors aged 15-17 years, to participate in the study. ? Knowledge of Setswana and/or English. ? Able to attend 8 sessions once every 2 weeks
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: ? Diminished mental capacity that makes them not able to comprehend and communicate. ? Severe psychopathology such as HIV related psychosis, pervasive childhood disorders, severe depression, or suicidal ideation

| (1)Reach – how many of the approached ALHIV are willing to participate in the study. (2)Adoption and retention - the number of enrolled participants who attend =50% of sessions and undergo the final assessment at 6 months; (3)Acceptability of the co-adapted intervention to determine how well the target population will receive the adapted intervention, the extent to which the intervention components meet the needs of the target population and the setting and (4)Implementation - assess fidelity to the various elements of the intervention’s protocol, including consistency and adherence of the intervention delivery as intended as well as the adolescents’ use of the intervention strategies during the study. | — |
