Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| to determine and compare the predictive accuracy of IWI and CORE index for reintubation within 48 hours of extubation (extubation failure) | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| • To explore the relationship between index values and ICU outcomes such as length of mechanical ventilation, ICU stay, hospital stay, and time to reintubation. • To record the use of postextubation support with non-invasive ventilation (NIV) or high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and its association with index values. | — |
