Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Are male and aged between 18–32 years at the time of enrollment. 2. Reside in Nairobi County, Kenya. 3. Are active members of the the FM Radio’s FaceBook online platform. 4. Own or have regular access to a smartphone capable of supporting WhatsApp communication. 5. Are able and willing to provide informed consent electronically. 6. Have not tested for HIV within the past 12 months, or are unsure of their current HIV status.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Are female. 2. Are below 18 years of age or above 32 years of age. 3. Are not residents of Nairobi County. 4. Are known to be HIV positive and currently enrolled in care at the time of recruitment. 5. Do not have reliable access to WhatsApp or a compatible mobile device. 6. Are unable or unwilling to provide informed consent. 7. Are currently participating in another HIV testing or behavioral intervention study.

| Descriptive data will be collected on participants’ HIV testing status, sociodemographic characteristics, HIV testing history, digital access and WhatsApp usage, and prior exposure to HIV related messaging. This information will be used to characterize the study population and adjust for potential confounders in the analysis. | — |
