Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Aged 18 years or older at the time of enrolment. -Currently employed or actively engaged in work involving: Mass grave excavation, recovery, identification of human remains, and/or Direct work with families of mass graves victims. -Able to communicate fluently in Arabic, as all intervention sessions and materials are delivered in Arabic. -Able and willing to commit to participation in the full intervention schedule, including: 1. Attendance at approximately 18 group sessions delivered across in-person and hybrid formats, and 3 follow up session online 2. Trip outside of work for a 7-day in-person intervention period, including attendance at the required 3 in-person sessions. -Has reliable access to the internet and an appropriate device to participate in online/hybrid sessions. -Willing and able to provide written informed consent and to participate in all study procedures.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Under 18 -Not currently working directly with human remains or with families of mass graves victims. -Inability to participate in group sessions due to: Lack of reliable internet access, or Inability to travel to the required in-person intervention location. -Inability or unwillingness to provide informed consent.

MeasureTime frame
Change in overall psychological well-being among mass graves workers participating in the intervention, as assessed using the World Health Organization–Five Well-Being Index (WHO-5).

Social connectedness and peer support Measured using the Social Connectedness Scale 8-Items (Lee & Robbins, 1995);Resilience and coping capacity Measured using the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC)-10.;Emotional regulation Measured using the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) (Gross & John, 2003).;Change in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms and related functional impairment among mass graves workers participating in the intervention, as assessed using the International Trauma Questionnaire (ITQ).
